I’m going to show you how you can make well over $100 per day using Freelancer without actually doing any work.
As you may or may not already know, Freelancer is a website that matches employers who are looking to hire with freelancers who are looking for work. If it’s something you’ve never heard of, you can check it out here.
When I first quit my job this was one of the first money making methods I used that quickly helped me to earn around $300 per day.
Rather than signing up to Freelancer & looking for work we’re going to do something a little different, something that’s going to prove to be a lot more lucrative (and much easier!).
What are we going to be doing?
I’m going to teach you how to act as a middleman and secretly broker projects, taking a commission of over $50 on each one that is completed & managing over 5 projects per day.
Firstly we’re going to need to sign up for 2 Freelancer accounts. On Freelancer your feedback is publicly visible which means that people can see the services you’ve bought & which jobs you’ve completed.
Secrecy is key here & we don’t want potential employers seeing that we’ve just hired a whole load of people to carry out jobs as they might think we’re incompetent, or suss out what we’re up to.
So instead of having the one account, we’ll have 2. One will be an employer & the other will be a freelancer. You can create an account here.
Now here comes the hardest part of this method, but once it’s overcome it becomes very lucrative indeed.
The hardest part is getting your first job, as since you’ll have no feedback employers will be wary & favor other bidders. Thankfully I’ve put together a guide on getting started with Freelancer.
Read that guide, then log in to your freelancing account & bid on jobs until you manage to acquire your first one, then move on to the next step.
Now that you’ve acquired your first job you need to discuss with the employer exactly what they’re looking to achieve with their project. Once you’ve got their full specification & requirements, log out & log in to your employing account.
Let’s say the job you’ve acquired is a website design job & it’s going to pay you $250, you now need to create a project as an employer looking to hire someone that can complete the job for a lower price, let’s say $200 (allowing us to keep $50 for ourselves).
Once you’ve found somebody forward them the specifications & let them begin their work.
This steps basically about mastering the art of bullsh!#ing.
The employers no doubt going to ask you a few questions whilst the works undergoing, they may even ask to see the project so far which means it’s important that you prepare all the answers ready for these questions.
For example, if the employer messages you one day & says “Hey, how’s it going, can I see where we’re at?”… Reply with something like…
“Hey! It’s going great! I’m just working on my local server at the moment but I’ll upload it as soon as it’s ready & give you a live preview”.
I’m sure you get the idea. Don’t panic about it, the majority of the people who will be employing you don’t have a clue about how all this stuff works so you could probably get away with telling them you’re having issues with your flux capacitor & hope to have it sorted by the afternoon. 😉
Once the freelancer that you’ve hired has completed the project it’s time for the handover. Since you’ll have paid a milestone to the freelancer ask him/her to upload the files for you to review.
Next, log out & send these files to the employer & ask them to review them.
Bounce their feedback back to the freelancer that you hired & ask them to make the necessary changes.
Once it’s all done here’s the important bit. Make sure the payment from the employer is released before releasing your payment to the freelancer.
You’ve just made $50 for doing next to nothing, and as you progress & begin to get more confident you’ll be able to handle multiple projects all at the same time generating yourself an income of at least $100 per day.
Here’s a few tips…
In order to make even more money whenever you hire a freelancer you should ask them for their Skype details. As you work with them more often they’ll become more trusting & will most likely eventually work with you outside of Freelancer. By doing this you’ll be able to dodge any fees charged by Freelancer and generally if you begin providing a lot of work for somebody they’ll start to drop their rates a bit for you too.
As your feedback increases on your freelancing account don’t be scared to begin upping your prices. Many employers favor freelancers that have more feedback and are often willing to pay a little more in order to work with them.
