What Is Proximity?
Paul Nicholls and Anthony Mancuso are the individuals behind this idea. Proximity is a training program that is meant to generate passive income via Google Adsense monetization and affiliate marketing. In essence, it is a training program that should teach you the working methods of generating a 3-figure passive income per day.
The advertisement claims that you only need to spend 15 minutes a day to make things work as desired. They also suggest that you don’t need to possess prior experience or expertise. The training program, they say, is newbie-friendly and you can start generating income the very same day that you get started.
Obviously, though those are some very bold claims indeed…
The Costs of The Proximity Training Program
The starting price of the Proximity training program is $12.95. According to Paul Nicholls, this program brings in free traffic so you don’t need to put in efforts in social media campaigns. He also states that there is apparently no need to learn SEO, look for backlinks, or create content.
Well, this is none less than magic. A program that doesn’t need SEO or proper implementation of digital marketing strategies is going to earn you over $100 a day – Amazing! However, I am confident that these claims will be a far cry from reality.
I’ve seen literally hundreds of systems promising similar things & none of them have turned out to work as they claimed. Plus as you will see further down in this review there are also some more hidden costs inside of the Proximity program too.
First though before I touch on those let me dig deeper into how it actually works…
Free Training:
How Does Proximity Work?
Why don’t they offer a free trial? That is the first question that irritates us. Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc & even my number 1 recommendation Commission Academy offer free-trials because they know they are giving what they claim to give. But almost all get-rich-quick schemes don’t offer free trials…
The reason is, they know the fact that as soon as someone manages to sneak in, he/she will definitely realize the truth. And they don’t want to reveal the truth without firstly feasting on your money.
What Does Proximity Teach You?
Creating your website and turning it into a blog, this is what Paul and Anthony shall teach you via this program. They guide you about the selection of the hosting services and niche for your blog. Then they teach you the art of optimization so that your website or blog achieves higher ranking in the search engines.
Well, the content of the training course is good in comparison with its price that starts from $12.95. But the problem is that nothing is in accordance with the claims they make in the advertisement. Creating a website, converting it into a blog, monetization, and optimization, are the things you can’t learn in 24 hours.
In addition, it takes much more time than 15 minutes a day if you want to generate passive income from affiliate marketing. Moreover, you are still not going to make anywhere near $100 a day immediately. It takes time, learning, experience, experimentation, and learning from mistakes. It is going to take months after months before you can master the art.
Don’t get me wrong it is certainly possible to make $100 per day with affiliate marketing, but what I am saying is that it simply cannot be expected to happen overnight… It will take weeks or months of work before getting close to that stage.
They also tell you that you don’t have to worry about SEO, traffic generation, and marketing. But the truth is, the whole training program is based on these major aspects. The training program itself is realistic but nothing will work the way they claim.
I also believe that Commission Academy provides MUCH better training overall.
Proximity Upsells
Proximity is a get-rich-quick scheme but only for its developers, Paul and Nicholls. They have some ready-made pages where you can plug-in affiliate links for $37. Then they offer advanced training for $47. They also welcome you to earn 100% commissions on selling Proximity. They call it Proximity License Rights and it costs $97 and then there is a Super Affiliate Training for $397.
So overall to get the real “meat and bones” of the program you are going to be spending a lot more than $12.95 as you are actually going to end up having to spend hundreds of dollars, which brings me onto…
Is Proximity a Scam?
We are in a 50-50 state of mind come the end of this Proximity scam review. What they claim is beyond logic and things don’t work as they tell you in their promotions. On the other hand, the training program introduces you to the reality of affiliate marketing and teaches you the art of making online money through SEO, monetization, and affiliate sales.
What I would say that is that you should NOT buy Proximity affiliate training program if you are looking to generate at least $100 a day right from the word go. You will be extremely disappointed to find out that no such thing exists. You need to work hard, get proper training, invest sufficient time and energy to see the results. And don’t forget, it is not going to happen overnight!
But overall even though there is some legitimate training inside of the Proximity program I would still say that Commission Academy (my top recommendation) is much better, and if you factor in the upsells it is also cheaper. Plus Wealthy Affiliate also offers a free Starter membership.
To be honest even though Proximity does come with some legitimate training I still won’t be making the decision to recommend it because I believe the claims on the sales page are too misleading. Most people who join it will just find themselves feeling disappointed & therefore rather than making the decision to recommend it I’ll actually suggest you avoid it.
Also don’t forget that affiliate marketing is not the only way to make good money online, there are actually several other great alternatives too.

A Better Alternative
The sad truth is that unfortunately most of the programs promising to help you make money online are scams. I can say that confidently after exposing over 500+ of them here on this blog.
