ShowCash calls itself the “only legit influencer network” & it promises to provide a way for people to make instant money from social media, even if they’ve never previously made money online in the past.

ShowCash Website ScreenshotAs a visitor you’re led to believe that you can just simply sign up to ShowCash, grab a referral link, invite others & then earn a whopping $10 commission for every friend that creates an account via your link.

But that’s a heck of a lot of money for such a seemingly easy task, so what’s the deal?

Is ShowCash legit, or is it a scam to avoid?

Unfortunately I can immediately tell you that ShowCash isn’t legit and that it’s actually a pretty dangerous scam. In this ShowCash review, you’ll learn exactly how it really works & what you need to do to protect yourself if you’ve already signed up.

I’ll also provide you with some legitimate alternatives that you can try instead.

What Exactly Is ShowCash?

ShowCash calls itself an “influencer network” and it basically claims to connect people who have a following on social media & are looking to earn money with brands that are looking to promote their products & are willing to pay to do so.

So you’re essentially led to believe that by signing up to ShowCash you’ll be helping brands with their promotions & earning money in return which admittedly in theory all sounds fair and well.

There are indeed legitimate opportunities such as affiliate marketing which will enable you to promote brands in return for money & you’ve probably seen people already doing this which may lead you towards thinking it might be real.

But the problem with ShowCash is that they make the whole thing seem WAY too easy.

They claim that all you need to do is simply share your ShowCash link with others & invite them to join for free. If they do indeed join then ShowCash claim that they’ll pay you a whopping $10 commission per member.

What’s more is that their calculator claims that if you have just a mere 1,000 followers you’ll be able to make $230 per day, aka $6,900 per month (as shown below) which is a heck of a lot money:

ShowCash Income Calculator

Yes, affiliate marketing is legitimate (and it’s actually the same way I personally make most of my own money online) but it’s not THAT easy to earn so much money… If it was then everybody would be doing it.

Nobody would be left working a “real job”!

So that’s a huge red flag, and there’s another red-flag which lies with where the money is coming from…

You see ShowCash claim to be paying people $10 commissions in return for inviting friends to create a free account – but if everybody is just creating free accounts & getting others to do the same then how is ShowCash making money?

How can they afford to pay out all of those commissions?

The short answer is they can’t – and they won’t.

ShowCash doesn’t really pay its members & I can say that so confidently because I’ve actually seen the ShowCash scam before. It’s been launched under a bunch of different names such as:

It’s the exact same scam but the people behind it simply keep on changing its name in an attempt to escape the reviews which expose the real truth so that they can continue tricking people into signing up.

But I know what you’re probably thinking – if it’s free then how can it possibly scam you? And what can you do to protect yourself if you’ve already signed up?

Well keep on reading because that’s exactly what I’m going to discuss next…

How Does ShowCash Work?

Basically, ShowCash is a phoney website that’s pretending to provide people with the opportunity to earn money from social media so that they can trick them into handing over their data & then getting others to do the same.

It’s called a data-harvesting scam & even though it’s “free” to join it could actually end up costing you because the scam is both cunning & dangerous.

You see the people behind ShowCash are basically relying on the idea that most people use the exact same credentials to sign up to every single website they visit.

That means they use the same username, email & password etc for every site they register with or login at.

And it’s true, most people do indeed actually use the exact same credentials for every site they visit because of course, it makes things easy to remember.

Unfortunately, though it makes your accounts a lot easier for the bad guys to break into & that’s exactly what the people behind ShowCash are set out to do. They’re setting out to try to break into your accounts.

But how can they do that?

Well, it’s quite simple really. After signing up to ShowCash the people behind it will attempt to find any online accounts associated with your details, such as Facebook accounts, PayPal accounts etc…

And then they’ll attempt to sign into them using the password that you signed up their website with. They’ll basically be working on the assumption that you used the same password to sign up at ShowCash – and if you did, then you’re at risk.

So How Can You Protect Yourself From Getting Scammed?

If you’ve already signed up to ShowCash & you did so using the same details that you happen to use elsewhere then you should change those credentials as soon as you can to prevent them gaining access to your account.

As an example if you signed up to ShowCash using the same password that you use to login to Twitter then you should head to Twitter & change your password there ASAP.

If however you signed up to ShowCash but you did so using different details & you’re just wondering how you can remove your data from ShowCash then unfortunately that’s not quite possible (and not really advisable).

You see a legitimate company would indeed honour your request to delete your data, but ShowCash isn’t legitimate & instead if you contact them regarding your data then you will just be potentially bringing more attention to it.

This means you could be more likely to be targeted or more likely to be sent spam by them.

So the best thing to do would be to just exit the ShowCash website & stay away from it… And of course if you haven’t already signed up then don’t, because that’s without a doubt a bad idea.

Oh, and just in case you’re not wanting to simply “take my word for it” when I say it’s a scam…

Here’s The Proof ShowCash Isn’t Legit…

Well firstly there’s the fact that the whole thing simply sounds WAY too good to be true, and as the saying goes “if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is”.

Then there’s also the fact that like I mentioned towards the beginning of this ShowCash review I’ve already seen this exact same site operating under various different names like OGDollars, StackPay & CashChase.

But on top of that there’s still more evidence that it’s a scam, such as the fact that the ShowCash website claims it was started way back in 2015 whilst a third-party tool reveals that the website was launched only a mere 16 days ago as shown below:

ShowCash Domain Age

Then there’s the fact that the maths in the claimed statistics doesn’t add. ShowCash (as shown below) claims to have paid out a whopping $44 million to over 300,000 members:

ShowCash Statistics

But if they’re paying $10 per member then that simply doesn’t add up as 300k members would only equate to a maximum payout of $3 million which is absolutely nowhere near $44 million.

And finally there’s the fact that a reverse image search using Google’s reverse image search tool reveals that the “testimonial” of so-called “Bruce T” on the ShowCash homepage links the site to the LiteBucks scam that I previously exposed.

Take a look:

ShowCash & LiteBucks Connection

How Can You Withdraw From ShowCash?

Whenever I expose these influencer network scams I always end up getting asked how people can withdraw the cash from their accounts before they exit the site so I figured I’d mention it here in the review.

The truth is that no matter what the ShowCash site says, you will have NO earnings to withdraw. The whole thing is a complete scam & none of the ShowCash members will ever get paid.

I mean yes, they have certainly gone the extra mile to make their site seem convincing & they have indeed set it up in a way so that your account balance increases accordingly as you get referrals… However the money is not real.

So if you’ve already referred people to ShowCash & have “earned” something, don’t waste your time trying to withdraw it because you’ll never get paid it…. It’s just fake numbers that have been set up to try to encourage you to keep referring people.

Tap2Earn Payment Comments

(you can view the comments on my Tap2Earn review here)

And that’s why the ShowCash withdrawal limit is set so high because the people behind ShowCash know that as soon as you attempt to make a withdrawal you’ll discover that the whole thing is just a scam.

So instead they want to trick you into referring as many people as behind before you’re able to discover that, which brings me onto…

Is ShowCash a Scam? My Final Verdict

Yes, ShowCash is definitely a scam. The website doesn’t really pay its members & the truth is that it’s just been set up to trick people into handing over their data so that those behind it can attempt to compromise their accounts.

What’s terrible about ShowCash though is the fact that the people behind it are not only trying to scam you, they’re also then trying to use you to promote their scam by promising to pay you money for luring in your family & friends.

The problem though, of course, is that the promise of money is fake one, ShowCash does not pay.

But like I mentioned at the beginning of this ShowCash review, there are actually other legitimate alternatives that you can earn money online & you can check them out by visiting my top picks page right here.

And I’ll point out here in this review that my personal favourite & top-recommended method is something called affiliate marketing which is basically where you promote products or services in return for commissions.

The reason I like affiliate marketing so much is because it’s relatively easy to get started with (especially thanks to training programs like Commission Academy) and the amount that you can earn with it is totally uncapped.

The harder you work, the more you can earn. 🙂

So if you’d like to learn more about affiliate marketing or get started with it then I’d highly recommend you either check out Commission Academy or read my very own free guide to making $100 per day with it right here before you go.

And if you’d like to check out the other alternatives then you can do that here.

But whatever you decide to do I just sincerely hope that my honest review of ShowCash here has given you a good insight into how the whole thing really works & most importantly I hope it’s helped to prevent you falling victim to it.

If you still happen to have any further questions or comments then, of course, don’t hesitate to leave them below & I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. 🙂

A Better Alternative

The sad truth is that unfortunately most of the programs promising to help you make money online are scams. I can say that confidently after exposing over 500+ of them here on this blog.

But the good news is that even though most of them are indeed scams, there are actually some very good programs in amongst them - some programs that can truly help you to earn money.

And out of all of the legit programs I've seen, the one I would recommend the most to anybody looking to get started online is Commission Academy. In my own opinion, that's the best place to start.

At Commission Academy, you'll be provided with everything you need (including the training & tools) to begin earning real money by promoting products or services for companies like Amazon online.

The best part is that there's literally no limit on the amount you can earn with it & the process is pretty simple which means that it's absolutely perfect for people that don't have much experience.

Some wealthy affiliates even earn as much as 5-figures per month... Or more!

Amazon Earnings Example

I mean don't get me wrong, that kind of money won't just fall into your lap without doing any work... But the harder you're willing to work at it, the more you stand to earn with it.

So if you're looking to get started but don't know which route you should go down or which program you should join (and don't want to waste money on bogus things that don't actually work), then I'd highly recommend checking out Commission Academy first. You can learn more about it here.
